Pan Fried Grilled Chicken with Oriental BBQ Sauce

3lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts

2 tablespoon Asian BBQ Sauce

1 tablespoon soy sauce (optional)

1 tablespoon garlic paste

1 tablespoon ginger paste

2 tablespoon vegetable oil

1 teaspoon lemon juice

Salt to taste

Pinch crushed red pepper

Sesame seeds and fresh coriander leaves for garnish

Step 1 – Cut chicken into small pieces (2-3 inches by 1 inch thick)

Step 2 – Place the chicken and lemon juice, ginger, garlic, vegetable oil, crushed red pepper, salt and BBQ Sauce.

Step 3 – Marinade in the fridge for at least an hour.

Step 4 – Heat a cast-iron skillet and cook the chicken until it’s fully cooked and slightly charred, don’t overcrowd the pan if using a skillet (you could bake the chicken at 425 degrees on a foil-lined pan if desired)

Step 5 – Serve with rice or noodles and vegetable as an appetizer, and top the chicken with sesame seeds and fresh coriander leaves.
